What will the Search Engine Optimization process involve?
Here is a sample of our SEO process:
1. Initial Consultation and Analysis - We will meet with you and work to understand your business, audience, and objectives for your SEO campaign. We will also work with you to identify the main competitors in your market.
Prior to this meeting, we will analyze your current website to gain insight into your current SEO strategy and current rankings.
2. Keyword Research and Reporting - Using a variety of keyword discovery tools at our disposal, we will perform keyword research to find additional relevant keywords that you are missing out on. We often find that amateur SEO companies will try to optimize your site for keywords related to your brand name, but go no further.
If a potential customer is not already familiar with your brand, but is searching for a type of product or service you provide, will your website be found?
Our keyword research and analysis will identify if there are more valuable keywords for you to be targeting, as well as additional keywords to build around.
Once we have identified a significant list, we will present it to you for your approval, as well as provide you with strategic recommendations on your next steps.
3. Competition Research and Analysis - Based on the keywords your company wishes to target, we will research the competition and find out how well your competition is ranking. We will also analyze competitor websites to discover additional keywords to target, and to gain insight into their SEO strategy.
We will also conduct a linking analysis to determine how many inbound links your competition has, as well as where those links are coming from. This data will be used in your link building campaign.
4. Keyword Conversion Rate Testing - This is an important step in the process that ensures that the money you invest in search engine optimization services is well spent. Optimizing your website for relevant, high volume keywords may not be the most profitable strategy for your business.
We recommend setting up a pay per click campaign with Google AdWords using the keywords you've chosen to target. Using website analytics and metrics data, we will track your website conversions (sales, leads, registrations, etc) to understand the direct profitability of your keywords.

5. Website and Content Optimization - We will go through your existing site pages and optimize them for the keywords you've chosen. This includes:

6. Link Building - This stage of your SEO program begins with research to find relevant websites from which to obtain inbound links. In addition to the top-10 directories to submit to, this will utilize sites found in the Competition Analysis step of the process, as well as direct link research.
We do not participate in free for all (FFA) link schemes, nor do we maintain link exchange programs between clients.
7. Reporting and Maintenance - Once your SEO program is in place, we will monitor and track your results. We will analyze changes in your search engine rankings, as well as the performance of your competition.
